There has been a mass action rally in Kiambu County led by Azimio leader Raila Odinga. The police present launched teargas at Azimio supporters who were present to support the leader.
The ongoing demonstrations are carried out against the government for the high cost of living in the country. The leader has stated that there are no changes regarding the holiday he had declared earlier. The holiday will be on Monday 20, March. He said that DP Rigathi is trying to scare him but he is not going to change his mind.

The leader added that he demonstrated in the eras of Nyayo for there to be multiparty in Kenya and it was successful and at the time DP Rigathi was still young.
The leader has indicated in a Kiswahili song that he is not calling off his demonstration plans even if he is locked up.
