Two Brilliant Political Decisions Made By Wa Muchomba That Might Help Her Remain in Power in 2022

Politics is all about planning and strategizing on the best options to make you remain relevant. With less than an year to the General Polls, politicians are busy regrouping themselves and weighing on the best options to clinch on power in 2022.

Kiambu County Woman Representative Gathoni wa Muchomba is non exceptional as she has so far made two brilliant decisions geared towards securing her future in politics. Her political star had somehow diminished but it has started glowing once again in the recent past.

As a politician, one of the key principle is to listen to the voice of people and adjust accordingly. This is what the Kiambu Woman Rep did by deviating her allegiance to the current Hustler Nation political wave. She joined Ruto's camp which is arguably the current strongest political force in Kiambu County. Gathoni was quick to adjust and she is now rooted comfortably in the Party.

Her decision of joining UDA gave her an upper hand as she can now ride on Ruto's name which is currently the "voice of the people". Prior to that, she was a fierce critic of the DP and a key supporter of President Uhuru and his government, something which often landed her in trouble with Kenyans.

In another excellent move, Gathoni decided to narrow down her campaign scope from County level to Constituency level. She affirmed that she will compete for the position of Member of Parliament (MP) for Githunguri Constituency. By so doing, the politician will have a small region to handle while Campaigning. MPs are further given more funds for Constituency Development (CDF) compared to the amount given to Women Reps through National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF). If she uses the funds wisely, she will be able to create a good reputation for future politics.
