Opposition leader and Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader Honarable Raila Amollo Odinga has threatened to lead his supporters to the streets for demonstration if the government continues with plans to remove the four Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission officials from office.

Raila Odinga had termed the action as dictatorial and claimed that the removal of the four commissioners led by vice chairperson of the commission Juliana Cherera was an early plan by the government to rig the 2027 general elections.
