As per the reports, President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to meet a host of leaders drawn from the Coast region today, as the 2022 politics continues to gain momentum in the region, with Raila Odinga, DP Ruto and now President Uhuru visiting the region in two weeks.
Teddy Mwambire, the Ganze MP confirmed Uhuru's meeting and that he will commission various projects in Kilifi then have a little talk on the region's political issues.
MP Mwambire also said that the Coast leaders have a lot of issues that ought to be communicated to the President so that he could look into them.
The MP further added that since the meeting will be exclusively for the Coast region's agenda, the Handshake supporters and those of Tangatanga are expected to attend.
There were no official communications that Raila Odinga, who is also at the Coast, might accompany Uhuru Kenyatta to the meeting.
