Azimio campaigns were taken to Bungoma county for a series of political rallies at Chwele Market with an aim of strengthening support for Raila's presidential bid. The rally was conducted by leaders from DAP-K party led by the incumbent governor of Bungoma county, Wycliffe Wangamati, who is also seeking to retain his seat. He was accompanied by a host of members of parliament and aspirants for various seats as they hunt votes for Raila Odinga.
They were warmly received by hundreds of Chwele residents who turned out to accord the team a grand entry to the market. They assures them that their administration under Raila's government will promote the agricultural sector of the region through creating market for their farm produce. The team also rallied support for their bids as they promise the residents that they will create opportunities for them in both formal and informal sectors so that they can raise their living standards.
