Kabando Wa Kabando has a point: Ruto and his deputy must take decisive action and put a stop to the current lamentations over the misappropriation of public funds. As the Commander in Chief, Ruto is equipped with all state intelligence resources and has the power to take action.
Daily scapegoating of individuals who have stolen public money in the past without addressing the rampant wastage happening right now under Ruto's own cabal is a clear dereliction of duty.
According to Kabando, Ruto should be determined to act. Anything less is unacceptable and an insult to the trust Kenyans have in their government. He should be committed to going beyond mere words and getting results, otherwise it will be time to go home.
Therefore, in order to effectively carry out the duties of Commander in Chief, Ruto must take swift and appropriate action, or risk forfeiting his place.
