The current economic state has been on the standstill as many Kenyans are now languishing in poverty. Everywhere you go is all about tough times Kenyans are in, following high cost of living. This state is said to have been brought about by prolonged droughts and the 2022 general elections, where we saw prices to various basic commodies hike.
Well, the opposition side led by Raila Odinga, are doing what they could to have the living standards of Kenyans lowered. Few days ago, Raila Odinga announced that 20th of March this year will be a public holiday for Azimio supporters, as they look forward to matching to statehouse for demonstrations over high cost of living. Speaking earlier, Martha Karua confirmed that the demonstrations will be peaceful and there will be no bloodshed.
Why Azimio's Monday plans may fail is that, President William Ruto has started secret plans to stop Azimio Monday Demos. Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai, has confirmed that president Ruto has ordered the deployment of RDU police officers to safeguard the statehouse building ahead of Demos.
Also, details shows that some of the Azimio politicians may been forced to flee away from their homes, as they fear state agents in case they go after them.
Despite all these, Raila has said that we won't give up until his agendas are fulfiled. What can you say about this. Drop your comment in the comment section below.
