'It Is Not A Must For Ruto To Live At The State House' Former Comptroller Speaks

Kenyans are eagerly waiting for the swearing ceremony of President-elect William Ruto at Kasarani Stadium. However, former State House Controller Franklin Beth alleges that it is not a must for Ruto to live at the State House despite being the president of Kenya. He alleges that he has a right to live at the State House as per the constitution but he might decide to live elsewhere in the country.

He alleges that if Ruto decides not the stay at the statehouse, the government will have to pay rent for the house he will be living. He revealed that the government will also provide maximum security simply because he is the president of Kenya. He also revealed that the government will have to prepare an office for him, where he will be meeting the visitors. He revealed that the late President Daniel Moi did not live in the State House.
