Nairobi Metropolitan Service Director General, Major General Mohammed Badi was yesterday night spotted together with Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya inspecting the Green Park terminus.
Governor Wycliffe Oparanya had paid the Nairobi Metropolitan Service boss a courtesy visit. The two individuals were also accompanied by government officials such as the heads of various government directorates and the contractors.
The Nairobi Metropolitan Service gave a statement on its twitter page which read, "NMS Director General, Major General during routine inspection of Green Park Terminus when Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya paid him a courtesy visit. They were accompanied by various heads of directorates and contractors."
The NMS Director General has changed the face of Nairobi city since he was given some fuctions that were under the former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko. Governor Oparanya was probably on a benchmarking visit to see for himself how the Nairobi Metropolitan Service has transformed Nairobi for the better.
