Kalonzo Musyoka has now two options ahead of the 2022 polls after being denied a chance to be on the presidential ballot box. Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has finally agreed to rejoin the Azimio La Umoja fold, about two weeks after announcing his exit. Kalonzo, upon missing out on the Azimio running mate slot, had run out to declare his presidential bid, and even named his running mate for the race.
However, Kalonzo Musyoka has faced a huge pressure from President Uhuru Kenyatta as Raila Odinga to return to the Azimio coalition simply because he will be given a lucrative position in the government. Fresh details revealed that Kalonzo has agreed to rejoin the Azimio coalition and take the Chief Cabinet Secretary that he was originally promised by Raila Odinga.
However, Kalonzo Musyoka has demanded that he needs other ministries to be under his position which includes the Ministries of Energy, Tourism, Health, and Water.
