Prof. George Albert OMore Magoha, is the current Cabinet Secretary for Education in Kenya. Magoha is referred to many as a no nonsense man, mainly due to his tough words and his strictness.
Not much is known from his family side because for a long time now, the Cs has kept his family off the limelight. According to reports, Prof George Magoha met his wife Barbara Odudu Essien Magoha at the University of Lagos where they were both undertaking a medicine course and managed to get married in 1982.
Barbara Odudu Essien Magoha a lecturer in the University of Nairobi UON is also currently a medical practitioner and works at the Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Kenyatta National Hospital KNH. She has a masters degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Their lively marriage was blessed with a son, Michael Magoha,a graduate from the University of Nairobi with a bachelor's degree in medicine.
In 2011, Michael Magoha studied Neurosurgery and he is currently working at the Kenyatta National Hospital KNH.
Michael Magoha came to be known into public in 2018 when a botched surgery happened and he was one of the Surgeons.
This forced his father Prof.George Magoha to quit KMPDB as the chairman when it was tasked as the board to investigate the matter of what happened in the botched surgery.
