UDA Members Of Parliament Storm The Parliament With Yellow Suits

United Democratic Alliance members of Parliament went to parliament in yellow suits. This is a color that is associated with William Ruto's party. The members who were close to 15 colored the house with yellow dresses, suits, and ties.

This seemed a way of welcoming the newly elected Kiambaa member of parliament John Njuguna Wanjiku. Njuguna was sworn in today and took the oath. He is the new member of parliament following the Kiambaa by-election. He will lead his people in the remaining one year before the next general elections.

After the house meeting, the members posed to take photos. This has elicited mixed reactions on social media as some Kenyans said this was a way of standing in solidarity with Deputy President William Ruto who had been denied to fly to Uganda. Others have equated it to politics. It is a way of showing Kenyans that they have moved away from President Kenyatta Jubilee's party.
