Hon. David Murathe has come up with fresh claims that Ruto doesn't love the Kikuyu community from Mt Kenya region. Murathe has sent a massage to Mt. Kenya people insisting that Ruto was paid according to what Rafael Tuju said. Murathe claims Ruto unleashed his anger on a woman who went to South Africa for treatment.
"Mt. Kenya people, Ruto doesn't love Kikuyus. He was paid according to Tuju. He also unleashed his anger on a woman who went for treatment in South Africa." Murathe said on Thursday July 28th. Murathe sentiments comes a day after Rafael Tuju claimed Ruto was paid to support president Uhuru Kenyatta in 2013.
Tuju stated that William Ruto issued demands that president Uhuru Kenyatta had to meet prior before supporting him. Speaking during an interview at Inooro FM yesterday (Wednesday July 28), Tuju has claimed that President Kenyatta was forced to part with a huge amount of money to get support from Deputy President William Ruto in 2013 general elections.
"The DP before joining Uhuru Kenyatta had tried the same number on ODM party. It's only that ODM could not raise that amount of money. For him(Ruto), everything is about money and that is why he is deluded that everyone can be bought with money," Tuju stated during the interview.
Rafael Tuju who is also the Executive Director of the Azimio Presidential Secretariat, maintained that Ruto demanded to be given certain ministries in government. This was to happen if they win the election. Tuju added that Ruto sees politics as a business contrary to the picture he paints in public.
“Let the people of Mount Kenya not think that Ruto supported Uhuru willingly in the first place. This is a person of blackmail and he was paid. I can confirm before the court of law how it went,” Tuju stated during the interview with Inooro FM.
