Waiguru has been all over the media revealing that jubilee party has lost popularity not only in Mt Kenya region but as well across the country. The governor also revealed that she cannot defend her seat in jubilee party though she has performed well for she might not be elected through jubilee given it has been overtaken by events.
This revelation just confirms that UDA party is the top contender in the 2022 statehouse bid ambitions. The fact that she has remained non committal on whether she would join UDA or not confirms she agrees the party as being the highest statehouse contender as opposed to Jubilee.
Ann Waiguru confirmation comes after the jubilee party lost a series of by-elections in the Mt Kenya region to UDA. This is the reason she has also vowed to decamp from the party to an undisclosed party given the turn of Events but looking closely she was headed to UDA.
Therefore this issues of Ann Waiguru just come to the conclusion that Jubilee party has lost ground to UDA. It also confirms that the political might of the deputy president William Ruto across the country is extremely might for he clearly was unstoppable moving into 2022.
