What Matiangi Did As He Handed Over His Office To Incoming CS Kithure Kindiki

Smiles, tears of joy and laughter today rocked the State House as members of the Cabinet Secretaries took their oath of office in colourful event. All the 24 Cabinet Secretaries have pledged that they will serve all Kenyans equally and diligently. President William Ruto in his speech reminded Kenyans that his team is competent and they will deliver to Kenyans. He also warned that those who will not perform their tasks as required by the law of the land. He said that their task is to transform the nation and not to misuse public funds for their own benefits.

Dr. Fred Matiang’i was one of the leaders who joined the former Uhuru's cabinet secretaries in handing over the power to the incoming team. The former Interior Cabinet Secretary met with professor Kithure Kindiki and handed his office to him. Despite the political differences that the teams had he has shown his joy to leave his office and even orient Kindiki. Matiang’i warmly welcomed Kindiki. According, to reliable sources Matiang’i was jovial. "Fred Matiang'i warmly welcomes Kithure Kindiki, the new Interior CS, shares light moments with him as he takes over the ministry."
