Following their retirement, it now means that the top three IEBC spots have been left vacant with the fate of the 'Cherera' four commissioners still clinging on the decision of the National Assembly in the upcoming days.
Concerning the replacement of Mr Chebukati, Boya Molu and Prof Guliye political analyst by the name Peter Orero has indicated what is required aside from academic papers for one to fully fit into their shoes.
While he was speaking during an exclusive interview on NTV television earlier this morning, analyst Orero indicated that one needs to have a thick skin to play Chebukati's role following the drama he was forced to go through in the recently concluded August election.
"If you don’t have thick skin, then please do not apply to be an IEBC commissioner. It is a political process." he said during the interview
