Mavoko member of parliament Patrick Makau's 2022 gubernatorial bid has received a major boost after his Matungulu counterpart Stephen Mule endorsed him.
While speaking to the residents' Mule waxed lyrical about Makau and urged the residents to vote in his favor.
According to Mule, Makau is a trustworthy leader who had proven himself worthy and has delivered accordingly in the positions he has held.
"You were promised a lot of things by the incumbent which never materialized, I Mule will support you Makau with the people of Matungulu who love me so much but if you go to Machakos and turn on us we will show you dust," he opined.
"Makau is a tested leader and as a member of Wiper express I can tell you that he is among the leaders who can help the region," he added.
Makau will battle it out for the Wiper ticket with Transport CAS Wavinya Ndeti and Machakos county assembly Speaker Florence Mwangangi at the primaries.
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka last week said that he will ensure the differences being witnessed between the trio will be solved amicably.
