TSC Crucial Announcement To All Teachers In Kenya As Talks On CBC Continues

As the Presidential Working Party on Education Reforms committee continues to discuss the way forward for Kenya's Education system as far as CBC (Competency Based Curriculum) is concerned, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) headed by TSC boss Dr. Nancy Macharia today has made an important announcement to teachers in the country.

The Teachers Service Commission has announced recruitment call for 35,550 teachers. The recruitment for teachers will start next year January, 2023. TSC boss Dr. Nancy Macharia said that the 35,550 vacancies comprises of intern and permanent jobs. All trained and qualified teachers are advised to seek for TSC number before applying for the job.

The newly recruited teachers will serve in primary and junior secondary schools. The new move by TSC will help in curbing the problem of teacher shortage in the country. It will therefore, improve the quality of education system in Kenya.
