A day after ODM Party leader Raila Odinga and Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho faulted Kingi for ditching Azimio La Umoja, the Kilifi Governor has finally responded. This was during a PAA meeting whereby Governor Amason Kingi was meeting all stakeholders to discuss their deal with Deputy President William Ruto which saw them to join Kenya Kwanza coalition
According to Kingi, Joho was very wrong to lie to Coast residents that he had read the PAA-Kenya Kwanza agreement and yet this was not true. Kingi has went further to blast Joho indicating that he knows that he is not learned but he should not he arrogant to that extent
"Wamekua hapa wanasema agreement ya PAA na Kenya inasema hivi na bado hawajaisoma. Tunajua haujasoma mwenzangu lakini dont go that far...Raila hapa pwani anasema ni bedroom yake lakini anaonekanaga tu wakati wa kuomba kura, io inawezekana kweli?" Governor Kingi has angrily remarked
