Makueni county governor hon Kivutha kibwana has expressed his disappointment after her deputy governor Adelina Mwau joined the hustler nation.
The governor said that the movement drew his attention since the people of making had promised unending support to the Azimio la Umoja initiative.
"My attention has been drawn to clandestine dealings between Adelina Mwau (deputy governor Makueni County) and United Democratic Alliance. She had even pledged to take with her a huge delegation of our common political friends to UDA, who declined her overtures."
The governor further wrote, "I wish to categorically make it clear, Makueni people have expressed their intention to support #AzimioLaUmoja and will not be hoodwinked by people seeking self-aggrandizement."
The governor however said that her relationship with the deputy governor has been excellent for the nine years they have been in the office together.
"While I respect Adelina for the good working relations for the last 9 years, her latest move puts our working together on the edge. The voice of the people of Makueni has always been our guide in decision-making. I will not abandon that principle for political expediency. ADELINA will walk alone."
The governor said that the decision by the deputy governor is solely hers and he will respect it though it will be hard for him to work with her.
