The Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Foreign and diaspora affairs CS Dr Alfred Mutua has broken silence after the death of the Ugandan High Commissioner to Kenya.
In his message, Alfred Mutua shared the last photo that they took together with the late Dr Hassan Wasswa Galiwango in a meeting that they had together at an undisclosed location and time.
He has since wished the people of Uganda strength as they come into terms with the sudden death of the official who died at Nairobi hospital according to the cabinet secretary.
"My condolences to the President, Government and the people of Uganda on the passing of Ugandan High Commissioner to Kenya, Dr. Hassan Wasswa Galiwango, who passed away this morning in Nairobi Hospital. My deepest sympathies to his family. Rest In Peace Ndugu."CS Dr Alfred Mutua.
The late was the husband to Mbale City Woman Member of Parliament, Ms Connie Nakayeze Galiwango.
Dr Galiwango was appointed High Commissioner in October 2020 to replace Phibby Otaala, who had left office to contest for a political seat back home.
