Molo Constituency legislator Francis Kuria Kimani, has warned the politicians who are waiting for President Uhuru Kenyatta's endorsement to presidency.
Speaking on an interview with TV47, the legislator has specifically mentioned the endorsement of the president to ODM leader Raila Odinga, will not mean a direct win for him.
The lawmaker has argued that a similar case once happened in the country in 2002, when the late President Daniel Arap Moi endorsed the current president Uhuru Kenyatta to succeed him.
Uhuru ended up losing the election polls to the National Rainbow Coalition (NARC) candidate Mwai Kibaki. Therefore according to him, it will still not be easier for Raila Odinga if he could be endorsed.
He has now urged the Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and all the other politicians who may be interested in President Uhuru's endorsement to better avoid it, because it might make it difficult for them to win the presidency.
