"ODM is Losing" Kisii Deputy Governor Alleges, Reveals The Number of New Members UDA Has Registered

Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has dismissed allegations that Deputy President William Ruto's planned tour this weekend is made to scuttle the gains ODM leader Raila Odinga and the ODM Party has.

Maangi said that Ruto just like any other presidential candidate will be visiting the county to popularize his presidential bid, the hustler nation and that he was not copying what Raila is doing.

Speaking to the media, the Ruto's point man claimed that the county is shifting from ODM to UDA, and that since the mass registration exercise commenced across the county, UDA has registered more than 57,000 new members.

"This is Ruto;s routine visit. Nothing to scuttle from Raila, in any case what gains are being scuttled? If anything, it is the UDA which has gained since over the last six months, they have registered 57,00 members from Kisii County," said Maangi.

He went on to state that he will not be intimidated for supporting Ruto's presidential bid, and that he will always join and host Ruto any time need be, and further welcomed him for a church service tomorrow.
