DP Ruto has had a chance to join Meru residents for the great day where they worshiped the lord together. During his speech, DP Ruto addressed a number of issues affecting the people of Meru especially the church members. Among the things he addressed was about what is going viral that some churches might be closed in Kenya.
DP Ruto assured the people of Meru that no church is going to be closed. He quoted a Bible verse referring to what happened in the olden days when some people wished bad for the christians. DP Ruto said that these speculations are coming from a number of politicians who are threatening to close some churches because of petty reasons.

DP Ruto went ahead and added that he is going to held the people repair the church after receiving news that their roof was leaking. He also promised to pay some tithe behind the cameras.
