Bloggers allied to William Ruto's UDA camp as well as those in the Jumbo Azimio La Umoja outfit have been firing salvos at each other as they wait for official announcement from the electoral commission regarding the ongoing tallying of the presidential votes.
Each team has shown confident that they will emerge victorious thereby boosting the morale of their supporters as the IEBC takes long to ensure that they deliver a credible, free, fair and verifiable election.
However, some of them have been peddling romours against the top politicians. For instance, the Azimio ally and COTU boss Francis Atwoli has been a victim of fake propaganda after UDA bloggers shared a viral photo of the politician traveling outside the country alleging that he has run away amid the ongoing elections.
This has forced Mr. Atwoli to break silence and shed more light into the issue. "Somebody using my old photo while arriving in Kuala Lumber Malasya five years ago, Shenzi sana," he wrote on his Facebook page.
