With less than 35 days to the August general Elections, campaigns are dominating in several parts of the country with the presidential hopefuls seeking to make up for the outgoing president Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Head Of State has however appointed a committee that Will oversee him handing power to the incoming leader after the August 9th polls.

The panel consists of: Interior CS Dr. Fred Matiangi, PS Karanja Kibicho, IG Hillary Mutyambai, Gen. Robert Kibochi, Philip Kameru, Joseph Kinyua, the director of the National Intelligence Service (NIS) Anne Amadi, Attorney General Kihara Kariuki, PS Jerome Ochieng, PS Julius Muia, PS Macharia Kamau, Kinuthia Mbugua, PS Joe Okudo, PS Julius Korir among others.

According to Act No.21 of 2012 which is in relation to the Assumption of the office of the President, the selected committee is tasked with defining the format of the inauguration ceremony of the president elect, arranging security details and briefings for the president elect and facilitating the ways by which the outgoing president transfers powers to his successor.

What are your thoughts on President Kenyatta's move, bearing in mind that he supports the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya presidential candidate Raila Odinga?
