The Kenya kwanza alliance presidential candidate and the united democratic association party Deputy President William Ruto and his hustler nation team are converged at the kasarani stadium for the official launch of their manifestos.
With that in mind, the deputy president William Ruto has carefully compared and contrasted the importance and eligibility of the Ruiru Gun Factory and the efforts of the kitui county government.
He said that the Ruiru Gun Factory, the government used about 400 million to create one job whereas the kitui county government used 168,000 to create one job. He said that if the government could have focused on making more rag factories like kitui county then the 40B used in Ruiru Gun Factory could have created more jobs.
"I want to give you an example. The Ruiru Gun Factory we used about ksh 40B to build and put it in place. Hence 100 jobs were created. This means we used about 400 million for one job. But kitui county government used 165 million to create the rag factory and employed 600,000 jobs. Which means kitui county used about 168000 to create one job. If we could have focused on things like kitui county and not Ruiru Gun Factory then we could have created more jobs," he said.
