ODM leader Raila Odinga is expected to launch his presidential bid today by announcing whether he will be vying for the presidency in 2022. Raila is expected to emphasize his Azimio la Umoja initiative which looks to bring Kenyans together ahead of the highly anticipated 2022 general elections.
According to many political pundits, the 2022 Presidential Elections will be a two-horse race between the current Deputy President William Ruto and the Odm Leader.
Raila's 2022 journey did not start well after supporters clashed at the entrance of the stadium. The chaos forced Maragwa MP Mary Wamaua to leave Kasarani Stadium, after being roughed up by ODM security at the gate.
The Mp left the meeting lamenting how she had been treated. She questioned the Odm men whether that's how they were going to lead the country if they were to win in 2022.
