Susan Kihika the governor-elect did a rigorous interview to pick her deputy and like in any competition, those who failed the test left bitter and disappointed, some even supporting the opponent. A face to laud is one who after not being chosen the deputy folded his sleeves and tirelessly campaigned for the Nakuru new governor.
Richard Langat was a common face in Kihika's campaigns. Coming from the inner part of Nakuru county, he has been praised for representing the region well.
Kuresoi South where he comes from is grooming him for a future bigger task. The big role he played for Kihika has seen many heap praises on him.
The top-rated professional chef has however not declared any interest in politics, or is it too soon? We wait and see.
