Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader has today told Kenyans that he does not own a penny outside the country. Raila said that all his businesses and wealth are just within the Kenyan territory, and he has no reason to work or invest in other countries as some of the politicians in the country are reportedly doing.
Speaking on an interview with the Kalenjin speaking Radio Stations and Televisions after he was asked about the recent report of the Pandora's Papers, which is involving President Uhuru Kenyatta who is said to have invested over USD30 million in abroad, Raila said that has no businesses or bank accounts in abroad and all his properties are just within Kenya.
"Mimi sina chochote inje, mali yangu yote iko tu hapa Kenya sina chochote inje ya Kenya mimi." Losely translating to; "I don't have anything outside Kenya, all my investments and wealth are just with the country I don't own anything else outside our country." He said.
