On the eve of the expiration of the Azimio One Kenya Alliance Coalition's 14-day ultimatum to the government of President William Ruto, MP Otiende Amollo has made clear that they are ready to move ahead with their mass action should the demands not be met.
"We will be waiting to see what the 14 days ultimatum will bring. But one thing is for sure, we are ready for whatever is to come," said Hon. Otiende Omolo Rarienda MP.
It's clear that President William Ruto does not intend to bow to the pressure to enter a handshake agreement with Azimio, instead reaffirming his support of those who agree with his agenda. This, along with calls from some Kenyans to alleviate the cost of living to counteract Odinga's growing influence, will define the outcome of this issue.
Only time will tell if President William Ruto and Azimio One Kenya Alliance Coalition can come to an amicable solution and reach peace or if they will clash head-on and put the country at a political and economic risk.
