The governor of Machakos County, Dr Alfred Mutua, is facing it rough online over his latest tweet. He has posted his picture while in a black suit that he has said to have bought it from Uganda. The governor has stated that clothes from the neighbouring country are of very good quality. He has aslo gone along to praise the Ugandans, saying that they are very pleasant and hospitable. "Just the other day in Kampala. I bought a black suit, shoes and a black tie. Everything that you can see that am wearing in this picture, i bought them from Uganda and are very quality. Ugandans are pleasant and hospitable people", he has written.
The post has attracted lots of reactions from Kenyans. Netizens have trolled him saying that he is advocating for the purchase of clothes from the neighbouring country. According to them its not a bad thing, but they expect the governor to be supporting his local sellers rather here in the country.
