Gatundu South constituency member of parliament Hon. Moses Kuria who is currently recovering from a surgery that threatened hi life has sent an important message to Kenyan youths who are yet to be registered as voters.
The Chama Cha Kazi party leader has called on the youths to come out in their numbers to get registered as voters so that they can participate in the upcoming general elections.
Kuria has reminded youths that it is not yet over to bring changes by voting the right leaders.
The Gatundu lawmker has revealed that he would have taken an active part in sensitising youths to get registered if he were not in the current situation.
"Dear the youth of this great nation. Please do not give up on everything. Kindly register as voters. It is about your lives and future. If I was in a position to I would be jumping up and down with you in the villages working with you to ensure every eligible voter is registered but" He posted on his social media pages
His sentiments comes after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission gave out its weekly report revealing that it missed its weekly target of 1.5 million voters by registering Les than 250,000 new voters.
