Former Coast Governor Joins Ruto's Convoy Today Alongside 3 Other Sitting Governors

At today's event, which is being held at Ruto's Rally, former Governor John Mrutu will be a featured speaker.

Today, a vote of confidence in Deputy President William Ruto's campaign for the presidency in the elections in August was held. Ruto is running against incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta. In light of the fact that an ex-governor from the Coast region was spotted driving in his convoy earlier today. The former governor, who has competed in previous elections for the position of governor but has been unsuccessful in doing so, is certain in his intention to run again in the election that will take place this year.

Full list according to Ruto

John Mrutu, who formerly held the position of governor of Taita Taveta before stepping down, is making an effort to win over Ruto's support while simultaneously constructing a substantial comeback in the political climate of the province. He is running for governor in an effort to win back his old job, which is now held by the current governor of the state, who is waiting to be re-elected by the people of the state so that he can serve a second term.

In addition to that, there were three governors who are Ruto's friends who were in attendance at the meeting. Salim Mvurya, the incumbent governor of Kwale, along with his two equals from Machakos, Mutua Alfred, and Kingi, the Governor of Kilifi, were the three heads of the group. Due to the fact that the three of them gave off an aura of self-assurance, it now seemed unavoidable that Ruto will move into the house on the Hill.
