He led Taita Taveta county in the opening of Mwakinyungu Primary School.
In his visit in the county he mainly laid emphasis on the devolution and met the members of the county assemblies Taita Taveta county after they unanimously embrassed the BBI.

The former prime minister also echoed on the fruits of devolution citing that the people of Taita Taveta are now able to see the fruits of devolution since independence.
" It is only post devolution that the people of Taita Taveta county began to realize the fruits of independence. Those who championed for devolved units foresaw a fair and just society. Our journey for a better Kenya is unstoppable". Raila said.
As his Taita Taveta county tour came to an end today he is also expected to tour other parts of the Coast region.
