Alex Ole Magelo, popular Kajiado Politician and former Nairobi Assembly Speaker has succumbed to Covid-19. The Kajiado West MP aspirant passed on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at around 8 pm according to sources.
Among those confirming his demise include former FKF vice President Robert Asembo.
Magelo who served as AFC Leopards Chairman died while undergoing treatment at a city hospital. His death came as a surprise to many as he was recently seen with his family looking healthy.
The fallen veteran politician will be remembered for his generosity especially to residents of Kajiado, Kiserian, Ngong and Matasia during this Pandemic.
The politician had been distributing maize flour to needy residents residing in Kajiado west constituency and its adjacent wards.
Before his death, he was rumored to being in the process of starting his 2022 campaigns for the Kajiado West constituency MP where he was going to give it another trial.
Magelo will be remembered for his developments programs at his home constituency. In addition, the leaders will be remembered for his campaigns for the tree plantings program at Ngong Hills.
