Edwin Sifuna Slams President William Ruto As He Alleges Why He Wants To Control The Parliament

Nairobi senator Edwin Sifuna has come out to reveal why president William Ruto is very determined to have control over the National Assembly despite not being allowed to have such control. Speaking to Citizen TV on Thursday morning the senator said Ruto knows that if Azimio takes control of the committees there are some members who were nominated to the cabinet that will not make it. This is because they lack the moral to hold the office of a cabinet secretary.

"I understand why President Ruto wants to have control of Parliament, he knows if we have control of the committees, there are names that can’t be CS’s in this country.

Aisha Jumwa & Moses Kuria don’t have the moral probity to be CS’s." Sifuna said.

Sifuna went ahead to explain to Kenyans that the control over the parliament was decided on August 9 when Kenyans voted. He asked the politicians to stay true to the vows they made when taking power.

"The control of Parliament was decided by Kenyans when they voted on the 9th of August. Politicians should stay true to the vows they took and there should be sanctity to the agreements they signed." He added.
