The Kenya 2022 general election is shaping out to be extremely competitive. Politicians are busy re-aligning themselves with sides that may guarantee them success.
The presidential election will be watched keenly as it looks to be the most competitive. DP William Ruto is currently leading in the popularity opinion. His popularity has continued to soar ever since he made his intentions clear that he was going to vie for the Presidency.
Ruto has continued to draw massive support from politicians across the tribal divides. He has seemingly taken another step forward with his political ambition.
According to the Sunday Standard, DP Ruto has seemingly imported a custom made 7 seater Airbus compressor chopper that he will use to extensively conduct his campaigns. The chopper which is fitted with night vision to enable him to traverse the country even at night. This will add to his other four massive helicopters that will propel him to the Presidency. However, it will cost him almost 1billion Kenyan shillings to purchase.
This move will likely lay down the marker for other presidential aspirants. They will have to upgrade in order to catch the DP. He is currently in the lead of those who covert that seat the most. Let's wait and see how others will respond but till then the hustlers are rejoicing.
What do you think? Is this a good move?
