Kenya Kwanza's presidential running mate candidate Rigathi Gachagua found himself in hot soup yet again after he used abusive language while addressing a congregation during a church service in Meru County on Sunday 3rd July, 2022.

Speaking during the church service that was attended by several believers, Gachagua used a significant amount of his speech time to get back at Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance's presidential running mate, Martha Karua who on the Saturday of 2nd June took a swipe at the Deputy President after the DP claimed that he would form a team to probe Uhuru once he clinches the presidential seat.

While responding to Karua's attack on the Kenya Kwanza leader, that is when Gachugua uttered the unprintable word.

"When Mwai Kibaki got in trouble with Raila Odinga, Martha Karua walked out on Mwai Kibaki. She showed him the middle finger na akatoka kwa serikali," said Gachagua.
