Good News To Ruto And Karua After The Latest Opinion Polls Conducted In Mt. Kenya Region

Deputy president William Ruto is the most Preffered Presidential Candidate of choice in the larger Mt. Kenya region that comprises of Kiambu, Muran'ga, Nyeri, Nyandarua, Tharaka Nithi, Embu, Meru, Laikipia, and Kirinyaga counties.

This is according to the latest opinion poll done by Mizani Africa in the month of September

According to the polls, Ruto came first in the popularity polls with a percentage of 58.2. He was closely followed by ODM leader and the former prime minister Hon. Raila Odinga at 27.1 per cent and Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi emerging third with a popularity of 5.2 per cent.

On the other side, Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua, emerged as the best female politician for the position of deputy president, she was supported by 34.8%, she was closely followed by city politician Agnes Kagure at 31.

Karua is closely followed by Agnes Kagure and Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru with a popularity ranking of 31.9 and 14.9 per cent respectively.

This is good news to deputy president William Ruto who is keen on succeeding president Uhuru Kenyatta, it is also a boost to Karua who has been out of active politics since she lost the Kirinyaga gubernatorial race, top presidential hopefuls could fight to get her as a running mate.
