William Ruto's UDA party has received sharp criticism from Kericho county residents as fights for relevance continues . Charles Keter's followers are up in arms against William Ruto's right hand man Aaron Cheruiyot . They are accusing him of owning the party and locking them out .
This is after the senator held a meeting with UDA members who his rivals say we're his supporters only . Senator Cheruiyot through his Facebook page revealed that the meeting was for volunteers from across the county .
"Held an interactive session with UDA party volunteers drawn from all the 30 wards in our county.Gained insights from their perspective on the proposed Bottom up approach that is the guiding philosophy of the hustler movement.I wished them well as they participate in the ongoing membership recruitment drive ," he said
Keter's camp are now asking William Ruto to make clear if the party is for the choose few or everyone asking him to dismiss the senator from the county's party top position.
"Dear William Samoei Ruto We have been sidelined in Kericho. Kiptoiyot has decided to make UDA a party of his supporters only. We support you but that doesn't mean we have to go through him to get to you. How can an aspirant be a Coordinator? The meeting that was in Saptet Gardens today was held without the knowledge of the County Party Coordinator ," They said.
