These first Baringo County Assembly Deputy Speaker Douglas Kiplimo has now coined a new name for president Uhuru Kenyatta, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga and Kenya African National Union (KANU) chairman Gideon Moi.
According to Kiplimo, the trio are 'neocolonialists' following their extremely tyrannical tendencies particularly those involving policy making such as the issue Building Bridges (BBI) referendum.
The former Eldama Ravine Member of County Assembly (MCA) argued that Uhuru, Raila and Gideon Moi were worse than dictators after allegedly coercing other leaders to support the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
The politician took exception with the manner in which the ruling party Jubilee was rally its members to support the BBI referendum. He alleged that the nominated MCAs were cowed into supporting the bill by the party against their democratic right.
Kiplimo averred that the decision on whether to endorse or reject the BBI referendum bill lies with Baringo citizens and not their leaders. He claimed that majority of the residents detest the BBI because it was conceptualized by untrustworthy individuals.
In the vocal politician's observation, Uhuru, Raila and Gideon Moi had go too far by using Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju to rubber-stamp their absolute authority. He asserted that they were akin to the past European colonists who colonized African.
"...Now, you are no longer dictators....you are colonizing this country," said Kiplimo while talking to press in Baringo on Wednesday.
This follows after Baringo MCAs engaged in a tussle with Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju at Pangani offices in Nairobi where they had gone in honour of a summon aimed at buying them in to support BBI referendum.
