Controversial Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has claimed that even key Azimio figures in Mount Kenya region like David Murathe don't have the guts to campaign for him openly and with determination owing to the hostile grounds.
According to Kuria, Murathe's recent media appearance at Inooro TV should give Raila all reasons to think twice on his association with Murathe.
Kuria argues that Murathe was so preoccupied with Ruto's identify as compared to their Azimio la Umoja candidate throughout the interview, a clear indication that he is not interested in selling Raila's candidature openly but only want to pass his agenda through the edges.
Going forward, Kuria therefore implored Raila to reduce his expectations from Leaders bof Murathe's calibre arguing that they are only deceitful and are not willing to risk and hit the ground running ahead of August general elections.
"Just listened to David Murathe on Inooro. 1 hour interview and he referred to 'Our Candidate" 13 times. Never called him by name. To my friend Raila Odinga, hawa watu wanakuuza kama bangi bana. Chunga hii mikora mzee. Mimi nawajua like the back of my hand."Kuria said.
