Jubilee party vice chairman David Murathe has seemingly made some remarks that possibly act as a pointer as to why the president and his deputy 'parted ways'.
Dozen of kenyans had been having a string of questions wondering what drove the edge on the bromance between the president and his deputy.
Both have been making public remarks in what appear to be an indirect jab towards each other.
Speaking during the interview with Citizen TV last night, the powerful Jubilee party official opined that despite Uhuruto winning the elections in 2013,along the way some people, though he never mentioned names, decided "to put their fingers in the cookie jar."
"The Uhuruto ticket won the election, somewhere along the way people decided to 'put their fingers in the cookie jar'.That is why there was a 'partying of ways' and incompatibility," he stated during the interview, where Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen was also a guest.
Though its not clear who he was referring to,Could this be what the president insinuated when he said he will not leave this country to thieves?
Though he has never been forthright on what drew the edge between the two,the president has been throwing subliminals especially during his public appearances aimed at throwing shades to particular individuals in his government.
"Trust my deputy at your own peril," the president had said some times back.
Many people especially the supporters of kieleweke fanction have been pestering the president to reveal the reason behind his sour relationship and 'incompatibility' with his deputy.
Yesterday, the former Kiambu governor William Kabogo, while speaking during Arahuka morning show at Kameme Fm,made a plea live on air to President Uhuru Kenyatta to let out the underlying factor to their simmering bad relationship.
"I'm requesting the President to tell us what caused the fall out between him and his deputy.Let us know probably it will help usmake a decision when it comes to 2022 affairs," Kabogo said.
