Barely eighteen months to general elections Political bigwigs in the country are aligning themselves to in the race to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta come 2022.
In western province, political leaders are strategizing on how to lock out ODM, Jubilee party and UDA out of the vote rich region.

Kakamega senator cleophas Malala says that the plan will succeed and they are contemplating sharing electoral areas. "ANC will not field candidates where Ford Kenya will have already identified winning candidates. All politics is local. We are already identifying favourable candidates for various seats," said Malala.
