Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance coalition party principal and Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua, has called upon Kenyans to attend the Azimio coalition countrywide mass action protests after the elapse of 14 day ultimatum which was announced by Azimio leader Raila Odinga. She has asked Kenyans not to accept being sold fear by President Ruto's regime and instead turn up in large numbers for the protest against high cost of living.
Speaking during a roadside rally in Githurai Kiambu County today, Karua urged Kenyans to turn up in upcoming Azimio's countrywide mass action protest againt high cost of living, saying that they should not accept being sold fear by President William Ruto's regime. Since the day foe being born and dying is just one therefore they should not be intimidated and turn up in large numbers to force the government lower the cost of living.
"Nyinyi msiuziwe uwoga, siku ikifika firimbi ikipigwa mkuje siku ya kuzaliwa ni moja na siku ya kufa no moja. Msikubali kuuziwa uwoga firimbi ikipigwa mkuje tuokoe taifa letu. Ni lazima pesa yetu itumike vizuri kuhudumia wananchi wote... Loosely translating to: "Don't accept to be sold fear, when you will hear the whistle please come we change our country. The day to be born and to die is one don't accept to be intimidated." She said.
