The political arena continues to witness immense development as the country looks forward to the August general elections.
KANU Chairman Gideon Moi has just received a total of eight members of the Garissa county Assembly who have defected from Jubilee Party.
The eight politicians were accompanied by the Lagdera MP Mohammed Hire, Wajir County Senatorial aspirant Ibrahim Sheikh and Garissa County KANU coordinator Mohammed Bashir.
Netizens have reacted to the latest development from Garissa county terming it as total comedy since both the KANU party and the Jubilee Party are under one umbrella of Azimio la Umoja.
Another Kenyan has asked whether Gideon Moi is also among the politicians who are on the move to finish president Kenyatta politically by weakening Jubilee party.
The JP has been said to be dying as most of its members have defected to other parties with a majority of them decamping to DP Ruto's UDA party. This ensued due to the fallout between DP Ruto and president Kenyatta.
