President Uhuru Kenyatta was today in Kiganjo in Nyeri County to attend the police pass out event. Since he is the commander in chief of all the forces in the country, he is required to attend such events. This is the last passing out he is attending as the chief commander.
During the event, the president sent a warning to all public servants who are involved in scrap metal business. He stated that there will be no buying and selling of scrap metals in the country until the guidelines have been put across to govern the scrap metal business.
He also wished the newly recruited officers good luck in their job. He told them that they are now having the power to provide services to their families, friends, relatives, and all kenyans in general.
He didn't bring the political issues in the event even though the political heat in the country is on the high.
