In 2013, Musalia Mudavadi tested the waters in the presidential race. Although he ended up losing the race by far, the most important thing is that he gained the experience required and after backing up Raila Odinga in the 2017 general election, Musalia Mudavadi feels like he is now ready and ripe enough to contest in the race again.
For a period of time now, the ANC party leader has been touring all parts of the nation popularizing himself. He has been insisting that this time round, he will be in the race to the final point but today, he was given a severe headache as he was ruled out for Presidency by Osotsi.
While speaking to K24 TV, Osotsi who was Mudavadi's ally stated clearly that Mudavadi isn't strong enough for the presidential race. He went on to tell Mudavadi and other leaders from Western region to either join Raila Odinga or William Ruto because they are the only horses in the coming general election.
