The Cherera led team will seemingly not be off the hook yet as sources reveal the next course of action after their resignation. Two of the commissioners have already resigned, that is vice chairperson Juliana Cherera and commissioner Justus Nyangaya. Both have claimed to have worked diligently and are now being witch hunted for standing with the truth. For the two remaining commissioners, it seems to be a matter of when and not maybe.
Resignation of the commissioners means the tribunal cannot continue with the task that they were to do.Gatanga MP who is a member of the JLAC team has revealed that they will have no business incase all four commissioner's resign.
Muriu has said that he will advocate for the commission to be turned into an inquiry to look into what really happened in the whole election. This means all the commissioner's will be brought to book. And so it is not over yet for Cherera and co.
